The Ranger 1800 from FMS is a trainer model with 180cm wingspan, which is excellent for beginners with good flight characteristics. But experienced pilots will also be impressed by its aerobatic capabilities and STOL capabilities (take-offs within 3 metres).

The model is constructed from ultra-light EPO rigid foam material and offers exceptional lift at extremely low wing loads, even at slow speeds.

Related propulsion
Of course a large aircraft also needs a large and reliable propulsion system. FMS has equipped the Ranger with a 750KV external shroud on a 45A regulator, allowing the Ranger to walk vertically on 4S if required.

Robust tripod gear
With a patented sprung nose gear and a robust metal main gear, the Ranger 1800 absorbs almost any heavier ground contact. The long-life, oversized Ranger 1800 is specially designed for harsh field use.

Realistic Lighting
The Ranger 1800 has a pre-installed LED illumination that makes the model appear realistic with navigation lights and land lights.

Optional floats
Additional to the metal chassis is an optional float set with integrated rudder separately available, which makes take-offs and landings also possible on Gewäsern.

Fast assembly
Füfor experienced pilots, the model with its bolted construction is ready to fly in just 3 minutes. The model is mounted much faster than the battery is charged.

Reflex stabilisation system (included in this set):
This set includes a Reflex system specially programmed for this aircraft. This electronic stabilisation system was developed to assist the pilot with control commands, but not to disturb them. The Reflex system works with both PPM and SBUS inputs and works natively with all common remote control systems. If the Reflex system is connected to a 3-channel switch, 3 different modes can be selected:

Stabilized Mode: When the control knob is released, the model is automatically brought into a neutral flight position, which offers a lot of safety in risky situations, especially for beginners and unskilled pilots.

Optimized Mode: The gyro system of the reflex system counteracts external influences such as wind or side wind and precisely holds the model in a stable position.

Off: The Reflex System can be switched off completely.

The Reflex System is specially adjusted for this model. No further programming is necessary, only the installation and connection in the model has to be done. The Reflex System can be connected to all receivers with at least 4 channels.
